The partnership between Tekupit and Ylöjärvi-based Mincon Nordic Oy began when Mincon was part of the Finnish Lehti Group. Today, Mincon Nordic is part of the international Mincon Group. Founded in 1977 in Shannon, Ireland, Mincon now supplies drilling products worldwide through its factories across Europe, North and South America, Africa, and Australia.
Mincon’s relationship with Tekupit began with purchasing pumps as spare parts. Since then, Tekupit Oy has expanded its supply to Mincon to include oil mist collectors, chip conveyors, and oil skimmers, along with pumps and other spare parts. Nearly all machines at the Ylöjärvi factory are equipped with Micronfilter oil mist collectors represented by Tekupit – over twenty units in total. The factory features various sizes of KUBE series oil mist collectors, and in addition to these, Micronfilter’s heavy-duty ECOTECH series collectors have been installed for the largest machine tools. According to Maintenance Manager Simo Elovirta, Mincon values not only the high-quality products Tekupit represents, but also our expert and helpful service. In practice, Elovirta explains, this means they don’t need to master all the technical details themselves – they simply tell Tekupit what their need or problem is, and Tekupit then offers a solution.
